the fam
Well – this past weekend we drove down to California to see the family. We haven’t seen any family since the announcement of the baby and it was important for both of us to see them since it has been almost 6 months since our last visit.
It was very enjoyable! We went through old picture books of Kristy’s family and of course ate a lot! Seeing everyone really humanized this Spring Term for me so far. School has kept me so busy, it is easy to forget why I am doing it in the first place, but seeing and feeling the love of family and friends is a great reminder of REAL life.
On Saturday, Kristy wore a dress that made her look just a bit pregnant! It was really the first time for me to notice it! I unfortunately FORGOT to take a picture…I did take some pictures of some other things on the trip…

We were espcially sad that we couldn’t see more of our friends and family while down there, but when we come back in the summer we will have more time to do it! It was a long drive for a short weekend, but worth every second!
